I Used to Hate Working Out

Believe it or not, it's true! Yes, I've always loved to dance, but I never liked running or going to the gym. I used to find every way out of gym class in junior high school. In fact, I even got out of taking gym in high school because I was on the cheerleading and dance teams.

Every now and then in college I would go to the gym and try out some of the equipment, but I never really liked working out. I just did it to keep my stamina up for dance or to sweat out a fun night of partying.

I know I'm not alone in this feeling.

It wasn't until I found barre and hot yoga the summer before my senior year of college that I started to love moving my body with a purpose. The mind body connection is what I truly loved about these classes.

Once I discovered that there were more ways to workout, I was hooked! I tried more barre classes, cycling, yoga, sculpt, bootcamps, dance cardio, pilates, and more. I obviously connect with certain formats more than others.
There's not a one size fits all formula for working out.

That's what I hope you find with the MCG workouts and dance classes. I hope they make you feel like you are doing something amazing for your body. I hope they give you that mind body connection. I hope they make you feel a part of a strong community. Most importantly, I hope they help you love yourself a little more!
